However, if you wanted to add text where the cursor blinks, you would be writing upside down. Try adding text in what would be the facing side when the card is folded. It gets to the point where it is registering the software and then the error message pops up. the only option is to hit okay and then the program uninstalls itself. I used to use it not to long ago. But, recently I re-did my PC from scratch and now not able to re-install works. I've tried all the steps that i found on the web about the particular error number, i.e. troubleshooting with .Net Framework, and still getting the error. From what I've heard Works 8 is just more of an update to 7 and it should open your older files easily. Jeff FWIW- Stick w/ 4.5a. So I uninstalled the Works 7 software, restarted the computer and re-installed Works 7. I must have did something wrong cause the program won't come up at all.
