Microsoft Word - Word won't maximise

Word won't maximise

Posted: 04 Aug 2013 02:56 PM PDT

I use Windows 2007 as my OS and Microsoft 2010 for the Office suite. All programs work perfectly apart from Word. It opens and documents open but they will not maximise. I can't get them out of the taskbar. The same happens when I open Word from the Start menu - the icon shows up in the taskbar (even though I have unpinned it) but won't maximise.

Office 2013 will no longer open - takes 24 hours

Posted: 04 Aug 2013 12:13 PM PDT

I bought the Microsoft Home Use Program in March 2013 and it has been working fine. Now when I click on it to start, it will take up to 24 hours to open. I downloaded the program so I cannot uninstall and install again. I had been using Office 2010 that came installed on my laptop, with only some capabilities and now it won't open either. School is about to start up in a few weeks and I desperately need it!

Bimini font

Posted: 04 Aug 2013 11:36 AM PDT

I'm using Office  home and student 2010 and it includes a font called Bimini ( BIMINB__.TTF ).  I would like to know if this font is included in the home and business version or the professional version.  I have checked the MS websites list of fonts and it doesn't seem to be included, but then again several of the other fonts that appear to have come with the software don't appear on the list either.

Thank you

hello I purchased a Acer Windows 8 computer from the retail store Future Shop. With it came Microsoft Office 365 and it was working very well then it started to say "Microsoft Word Has Stopped Working". I figured the trial was over and decided to purchase Microsoft University today. I installed it and I still get the same problem.

I have tried winword /safe launch which works. How can I get Microsoft Office to work properly?

VBA script to underline a specific text in word document

Posted: 04 Aug 2013 07:11 AM PDT

Hi Experts,

I need to write VBA script to underline specific word in word document.

Below is the scenario,

Word 'XYZ' needs to be underlined in word document wherever it is present, but if 'XYZ' is a part of another or substring then it should not underline 'XYZ'.

like if the word is 'ABCXYZ' or 'XYZ123' then it should not underline 'XYZ'. It should only underline seperate existence of string 'XYZ'.

for e.g. My name is XYZ. then string 'XYZ' should be underlined in word document.

Is it possible through VBA script? Please reply.

Thanks,

Nandadeep

Word 'exceeded the number of pages'

Posted: 04 Aug 2013 05:37 AM PDT

I get a 'You have exceeded the number of pages supported by Word ...' error message periodically on documents large and small, but all are massively within Word's actual capacity.  I've tried the repair option, and also reinstalled the programme (Office Home and Business 2010).   Still get the message.

I'm at a loss what to do.  Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Desperate for a solution to Merge Cells Problem

Posted: 04 Aug 2013 12:20 AM PDT

I need to mail merge to this official document - desperate

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Byh_yk4sggOEc2lGSmdUel9peW8/edit?usp=sharing

To do that I need to merge some individual cells (to display one field)

Everytime I merge the "Learner Reference" cells it causes the whole document to distort - specifically on page 2

I have tried various table/cell properties but I cant stop it

Can anyone see what is causing this problem or think of any other solution (work around) to merging data to it

I have even tried saving as RTF but merging cells still causes document to corrupt (also tried using Word 2003)

My question is in the title.  It's difficult enough using MS Word in MS Office Starter 2010, but it came with the computer and right now, I don't have a couple hundred dollars to buy MS Word Software.  If anyone can help, then maybe I can get on with doing a quick edit on my resume.

moving from Exchange 5.5 to 2003 and blackberry server

Posted: 29 Jan 2005 08:43 PM PST

I have just done this a couple of weekends ago.

1. Give the Besadmin account permission on Exchange 2003 - -you will need to
delegate ‘View Only Administrator’ permissions to BESADMIN at the
Administrative Group level. Also Assign BESADMIN ‘Administer Information
Store’, ‘Send As’ and ‘Receive As’ permissions to the Exchange Server
security properties in addition to those already inherited from the
Administrative Group level for all servers hosting user accounts destined to
be BlackBerry users.

2. Move the BESadmin to Exchange 2003 server
http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/8021/8149/8064/How_To_-_Move_the_administration_mailbox.html?nodeid=72292 8&vernum=2

3. Stop the blackberry services and move all the blackberry users mailboxes.

4. Start blackberry services.

If you want to move the blackberry to other server you have to install BES
on the new server using the same settings as the original server e.g

• Windows service account
• ï€*Microsoft Exchange mailbox
• ï€*MAPI Profile name
• SRP Identifier
• SRP Authentication Key
• BlackBerry Enterprise Server name

Then before you start up the services on the new server, stop the blackberry
services on the original one (if both server are running the services
together you account at RIM will be locked out). If you are using Windows
2003 you have to download MSDE from Microsoft web site.

Hope this help and sorry about the earlier post I accidently hit the enter
key.

4.2 Network (Onboard Wireless)

It's a Hermes chipset, so you can either use the older wlan-ng package, or
with recent (2.4.15+) kernels you can use the Orinoco PCI driver.

alias eth1 orinoco_pci

Is all that was required in /etc/modules.conf to make this work. Note: using
the Orinoco driver version 0.11 and 0.12 didn't work too well for it - the
card would lockup. I grabbed 0.13d from David Gibson's site
(http://ozlabs.org/people/dgibson/dldwd/) and installed that, and problems
went away. It should be included in 2.4.21 or so - it's not in 2.4.20.

You'll need to rmmod and modprobe the driver on suspend/resume - I have a
script I run on resume that restarts everything I need.

I understand your frustration here. I haven't played with cygwin for a
long time. You've got to understand that cygwin is not a 'real' or
'typical' linux distribution. I really think you'd be way ahead to install
a real linux on your computer and dual boot. This can be done quite easily
with, for example, Mandrake or Knoppix. It would make life a lot simpler
since all the stuff you referenced above will already be installed.

BTW gcc is the standard GNU C/C++ compiler. QT is a toolkit for building
graphical user interfaces.

it could not even reboot itself. I was able to repair the partition table

So I recognized the different cylinders 64-bit SuSE 9.1 wanted to use

work around it without mangling my partition geometry again.

Curious if 64-bit XP Pro uses the same troublesome version of

I did not like Fedora, so I did a fresh install of Red Hat Linux 9 on top
of it (partitionning the HD with Red Hat's Disk Druid to leave the Windows

The only thing to watch out for if you delete Linux is to restore the MBR
first. It is easier that way. But you can presumably do that from a
Windows boot disk even if you forget.

'man mount' says if you use the "-f" flag, it doesn't mount
the filesystem.

-f Causes everything to be done except for the actual system call;
if it's not obvious, this ``fakes'' mounting the file
system. This option is useful in conjunction with the -v
flag to deter- mine what the mount command is trying to do.
It can also be used to add entries for devices that were
mounted earlier with the -n option.

What does 'mount -fv /dev/sdb1' say?

Is /etc on a readonly filesystem?

Perhaps you could post your entire /etc/fstab file.

Does one or more of the three lines above have an error in it? The first
line says "/mnt/export" but the subsequent lines say "/export".

When init tries to mount the file systems during bootup, what message does
it display when it tries /dev/sdb1 ?
