| Posted: 21 Aug 2007 07:18 PM PDT Zippy24oz, I remember that the XP SP2 upgrade changed something that prevented the following keys to work properly in your PC. This was done as a security fix. The only way that I have been able to make Older versions of Works and Office, that came out before the SP2 upgrade, to work. Is to disable the following keys, by altering the name of the following keys: You will need to Press START button> Run> Type: regedit> Edit on Toolbar> Find> Search for the following keys. 1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\htmlmarq.ocx Changed name to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\oldhtmlmarq.ocx 2. It does say "Copyright 1987-2001Microsoft Corporation " at the top and in the box Microsoft Works 2002© 1987-2001 and Windows ©CE 1996-2001.
