Posted: 01 Jun 2005 04:18 AM PDT This is the error: "Setup was unable to install Microsoft Crm Server. Setup was unable to configure the web services that are using Microsoft asp.net" Many Thanks "Deshimaru" wrote: |
unable to publish Associated View customizations Posted: 31 May 2005 11:17 PM PDT Thanks Matt, your explanation of where the Associated Views are viewable is what helped me understand that I was making changes to the wrong View! I didn't realize that you have to double-click or right-click->open on the individual Views to make changes to them within the Customization Tool. Deffinitely problem solved! Thanks again. Pass lead information to crystal reports Posted: 31 May 2005 04:07 PM PDT thanks for the info! I also found good articles that implement the model at the groups and kb articles below. thanks for the suggestions. they worked great. eric http://groups-beta.google.com/group/microsoft.public.crm/browse_thread/thread/150543438f07dee1/f89d21efd2e59a47?q=How+To+Print+Quote+with+Details &rnum=2&hl=en#f89d21efd2e59a47 http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnmbscrm1_2/html/mbs_crmreportsfromurl.asp http://support.microsoft.com/kb/834790/ "MattNC" wrote: |

Posted: 31 May 2005 02:36 AM PDT So in order for me to install it for user A, on a machine where he is not a local admin, I have to make him a local admin, install SFO and then remove his admin priviledges? Not really practical... "Peter Lynch" wrote: |
Posted: 31 May 2005 02:16 AM PDT yes, thats correct. but: keep in mind. the email connector is _only_ able to listen on the external gateway. internal crm-mail traffic will never make its way into the activityhistory unless the user does that manually (using sfo) "Carrie" <microsoft.com> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:com... |
Posted: 31 May 2005 01:41 AM PDT Carrie, When you change business units, a field called the "securitydescriptor" is modified for every affected record. (There have been some issues with this, and MS is doing away with the concept (and that field) in the next version.) It sounds like you might want to contact MS support to have them run a utility that rebuilds all security descriptors. HTH, Dave ------------------------------------------------- David L. Opportunity / View / Close Date Posted: 30 May 2005 07:20 AM PDT Well, you can use Advanced Find to find all opportunities with an Est Close Date On Or Before any specific date you specify... It's really not too much work to go in there and modify the 7 day view each morning... And you can just make the yearly one change each month and be close enough, I'd think... Any way to change Invoice sequence number? Posted: 27 May 2005 07:01 PM PDT Thank you Frank. Kind of s, but I guess it makes logical sense why it can't be changed. Best Regards, -Horia "Frank Lee" wrote: |
Get Error Message when adding Users Posted: 27 May 2005 01:53 PM PDT I can't access the web interface of CRM either. When I try it, I get the following error message: Error An error has occurred. For more information, contact your system administrator. I had a lot of problems getting CRM set up, and I had to call microsoft to get CRM set up correctly. When I got off of the phone with them, it was assumed that everything was set up and working, so the ticket is closed. I do not want to spend a lot of money on more support calls with Microsoft. Can anyone help? "Chris P" wrote: |
