How to Install Office 2003

I suspect you have a bootleg copy. The Enterprise version is sold as volume
licensing. But hey, you can try to install it.

You create the mail profile in Control Panel->Mail Icon. Having Office open is not required.

Cant install Office 2003 SP3 after Failed attempt

Posted: 17 Oct 2007 08:34 AM PDT

I wouldn't worry about it.

Like I said.. Office 2003 use a program called Ohotfix inside of the patch
..exe and Ohotfix applies the patch to each product individually. If you got
an error message about a infopath file missing, then infopath is probably the
only product it failed on.

OEM version or Retail version ?

That's the easiest way. Anything that keeps you from messing with the
registry is a good thing.

Or look at Help->About to see if your PID has OEM as one of its components.

Keep in mind this is a peer support forum, and to be sure, you may want to
speak to a licensing specialist at Microsoft.

Installing Outlook will make it the default browser. After uninstalling it
you will have to make WinMail the default again.

I assume it will create needed folders, but I can't check.

Set Up/Repair

Posted: 14 Oct 2007 10:39 AM PDT

Moving programs in that way is not going to work.
The WD utility is designed to clone (copy) your old drive to the new, in
order that you can remove the old and replace it with the new.
When you install a program it installs files in many locations and adds many
entries to the windows registry, all of which contain pointers to the
origonal location.

Your origonal data and applications should still be on your old C drive.
Use Explorer to check that your My Doents and Programs are still located
on C - you will have to enable viewing of hidden files.

Once you have ensured everything is still on C,
Use Disk Management to delete any Partition on the new drive, then create a
partition & Format it.

Then uninstall any programs you wish to move to the new drive & reinstall
them on the new drive

Check properties of My Doents & use the option to 'move'

You will find that EU laws supersede the interpretation and EULA that many
