Posted: 06 Aug 2004 11:33 AM PDT IMS = Internet Mail Service. I don't have an Exchange 5.x server handy (it's been a while) but open Exchange Administrator - Maybe this will help? http://www.exchangeadmin.com/Articles/Index.cfm?ArticleID=15729 nigelcourtney wrote: |

incorrect 'received' time on interoffice mail Posted: 05 Aug 2004 10:02 AM PDT Check the time zone on the affected workstation. The time may show correctly, but if the time zone is off you can have mail arriving before it was sent or hours later. "Rusty Lentz" wrote: |
Global Address book not updating. Posted: 05 Aug 2004 06:44 AM PDT thank you very much that was the answer. "Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]" <donotsendme.unsolicitedmail.atyahoo.com> wrote in message news:phx.gbl... |
need to sync a pda with a shared calendar Posted: 04 Aug 2004 06:07 PM PDT Nope, ActiveSync doesn't support public folders. Pocket Lookout should, though. http://www.vonkensoftware.com/lookout/ -- -Ben- Ben M. Posted: 04 Aug 2004 04:50 PM PDT OWA will authenticate but never serve the page. All IIS services appear up but they hang upon restart so I assume a process is hung. I guess if there was a utility that could login, pull a page, then logout, this would do the trick, unless there is a better way. OWA-IIS Settings Lost After Reboot Posted: 02 Aug 2004 01:52 PM PDT If you are changing the authentication setting, for the Exchange virtual directory, in the IIS console, then the reason you are seeing it get overwritten is because Active Directory is overwriting the IIS Metabase with what it has for the authentication settings. In order for the back slash (\) to not get overwritten, you must change the Exchange virtual directory's authentication settings(& the public virtual directory's) authentication settings through the Exchange System Manager console. Org name -- Administrative Group -- <name of administrative group> -- Servers -- <server name> -- Protocols -- HTTP -- Exchange Virtual Server -- <properties of the Exchange directory> -- Access tab -- Authentication button. When you changed the authentication settings, in ESM, the changes are written to Active Directory, which then overwrites what is in the IIS Metabase. =================================== From: Kevyn Pietsch[MSFT] This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
