Office 2007 Enterprise Install

Posted: 06 Jun 2007 02:55 PM PDT

JoAnn

Me too. That is why I asked the OP as to where he did get it. Besides I think Office Enterprise comes with only as a Volume License and I do not think it is capable of Upgrade as the OP is saying in his post. It is a full install.

I am taking this above from my Office 2003 Enterprise Edition

Word is Word regardless of whether it came with Works Suite or Office. As

Absolutely, uninstall the trial and install your own. If you have
additional problems, run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to remove

Where did you get Office in the first place? And I'm not talking about a
system recovery disk, I'm talking about the Office CD. Either it is on a CD
or it's possible that it was preinstalled when you got the computer. If
that's the case, your computer manufacturer could have helped you reinstall

Hello John,

I don't seem to have a problem with all (7) of Office 2007 applications
open/running on Vista (64) but my power plan is set for Balanced and set to
'never sleep' (except in trying to duplicate your problem). It sounds like
you have another application/hardware hanging . You might want to look at
some of the settings for your power plan and tweak were appropriate.

Form Fillable PDF in Ondrive, Word PDF does n ot work

Posted: 14 Sep 2014 03:03 PM PDT

I am having problems with PDF's opening in Word. I was trying to post a PDF file that is form fillable to my onedrive folder and create a link to it so I can share it and accumulate the corrections or completed forms input by others. When Word opens the file there are no fields to input information in. It's completely unfeasible to have the parties I want to share with to download it update it and upload it again.

I'm new to Skydrive-Onedrive and was rally looking forward to the possibilities. This is a huge setback. Does anybody know of a cloud system that will provide a functioning PDF viewer or is Microsoft going to correct this issue.

Question about editing (select, delete text) in 2007

Posted: 14 Sep 2014 02:58 PM PDT

I just switched from 2003 to 2007 and have a question which I'm sure is very simple but I can't figure it out.

Let's say I have 2 paragraphs, and I want to delete the end of the top paragraph and the beginning of the 2nd paragraph.

i.e.

(para 1):  One day I went to school.

(para 2):  I woke up early.

Now, say I want to get rid of the end of paragraph 1 and the beginning of paragraph 2 so that my final result will read:  "One day I woke up early."

So when I select the text I want to delete (went to school.  I) and hit delete, it ends up looking like this:

One day I

woke up early.

My question is, how can I get "woke up early" to be up there next to "One day I"????

TIA

Can't save documents on windows 2013

Printing issues with Office 2010

Posted: 14 Sep 2014 01:54 PM PDT

Hi, I recently installed Office 2010 onto my computer, its a Hp running windows 8.

Whenever I write a word document and try to print it, the printer recognizes the document and goes through the process of running the page through, with the printing spool moving, but the page comes out blank.

The printer is  a HP Deskjet D1600 series.

The reason I think this is an Office 2010 issue is that whenever I print anything else outside of Office there are no issues and the printer works fine.

I have tried changing the font on the documents but still the same.

Can anybody help?

Thanks.

IE copy image / Paste in word does not work

Maybe the Office or IE developers could come up with a solution.

Office 2013: We're sorry, but Word has run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly.

Posted: 14 Sep 2014 08:33 AM PDT

Hi,

I've had office 2013 installed on my laptop for a while but hardly use it. I came to use it the other day and got the error:  We're sorry, but Word has run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly. This happens as soon as I open word or excel.

I attempt to run the repair but this also fails before it even starts!

-I tried running in safe mode to disable add ins but same issue.
-I have tried creating a new user on the laptop (admin) and opening word and excel with that user but same issue.
- Did a repair from 'uninstall a program'
-uninstalled office, rebooted. Ran the fixit tool to remove click 2 run software, rebooted, re-installed office from the image file downloaded from my office.com account. All looked promising at this point but then excel closed without warning and I got the same error when trying to re-open.
-added a registry key to disable hardware acceleration in office.

Is anybody able to offer any advice on other things to try?

Does Word 2013 have updates?

Posted: 14 Sep 2014 08:27 AM PDT

I have had the Office 2013 for over a year and lately the Word program has "not responding". I go to open a document and the little mouse twirls and twirls and there is a "not responding" notice at the top.

I have to reboot my computer and try again.  This is happening a lot.  I don't have the subscription Office, but the stand alone single copy.  Are there updates?

Or should I re-install the program?

It doesn't happen to the other programs, only Word.

(Is there a fix -- I went to all the suggested MS sites and they're no help)

Office word 365 shows errors of cannot create work file, fails to import photos and Page number

Posted: 14 Sep 2014 08:15 AM PDT

I Have many problems on my office 365 word:

  • During I start word and open my document,  a message displaying "Cannot create work file. Please check temp environment." (I don't know what exactly what it said) Many times.
  • When I try to add a page number to a header, it shows error messages, probably including the cannot create work file message, and won't complete this operation.
  • In addition, when I press open in a file folder to insert a photo, a message opens describing there was a problem while importing the photo. Then, it may be also followed by the location of the file I was trying to do.

I tried to do quick and full repair, and uninstalling then reinstalling the program, but problems do still exist.

What do I have to do?

Word 2010, Unwanted Blank Page

Posted: 14 Sep 2014 07:50 AM PDT

Office Home and Student Word 2010, Windows 7 32 Bit.  I am creating a document with only a picture on each page.  I have mirror margins with a wider gutter.  There is 1 section break between the front cover and the front matter. These images are the only thing on each page, and are laid out behind the text region.  Suddenly at pages 9, 10 and 11,  I now find that an empty page (page 10) is being added in between 2 pictures (pages 9 and 11).  I can backspace to make the picture fill that blank page, but the next picture I insert has a new blank page inserted before it and so on and so on.  The picture width and height is completely within the page margins.

I have checked and rechecked all the options.  In Show all Formatting Marks, there is no break of any sort assigned at that location, no text, hidden or otherwise, only carriage returns indicated by the paragraph symbol.  Show Picture Placeholders is unchecked.  Restarting Word and re-booting the computer has no effect.

To get around this annoyance, so that I can complete this project, I have added several blank pages to the end of this document.  It seems to be working, in that there are no unwanted blank pages between the images.  But when I delete those blank pages at the end of the document, I am right back in the same boat, a blank page between the last and the 2nd to last image.  The blank page issue is going to be a "tearing my hair out" issue when I begin page numbering in the footer.

I would be very grateful for any solutions to this "phantom page" issue.

Thanks!

Sharon

Can't print Word and Excel files from HP printer

I have a new Acer laptop running the latest version of Windows (biggest piece of garbage Microsoft ever put out).

I had to install Microsoft Word 2013, again a piece of trash, and now cannot print word documents, blank piece of paper comes out of printer.

Tried to print Excel Document and only a couple of words came out.

I have a new HP Photosmart 7520 printer.  I can print from the internet but not from  Microsoft.
