Office 2007 and Terminal Services. Posted: 23 Nov 2006 02:32 PM PST Hi Jin-oh, For the 2007 Office Systems, Terminal Services aren't supported for the OEM or retail editions, only for MS Office Enterprise Editions as described here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/924622/en-us?FR=1 The Volume License/Enterprise Editions are shown here (the ones with 'price not quoted') http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/FX101754511033.aspx#1 The key listed in that KB article you cited, for MS Office Professional Plus for Office 2007 is only applicable for the beta products. ============ <<"Jin-oh Choi" <microsoft.com> wrote in message news:com... It is somewhat related to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/925098 But the Key does not work. -- Jin-oh Choi>> -- Bob Buckland ?:-) MS Office System Products MVP *Courtesy is not expensive and can pay big dividends* |
64 Bit Components in Office 2007 Posted: 23 Nov 2006 09:51 AM PST Hello Baboon, I assume that the 64 bit components in the Office 2007 Enterprise media you mentioned should be something like Office64.en-us etc. As I know, such components, just like Office64.en-us, are the basic language packages for x64 bit operating system. When you install Office 2007, Office 2007 will automatically detect whether it is a 64-bit operating system. If yes, the setup will invoke the 64 Bit Components to continue the installation process. Hope this helps! Office 2003 and Proofing Tools 2003 problem Posted: 23 Nov 2006 08:48 AM PST I see Bob has recommended reading Cindy's article on this. (She is certainly an expert in this area.) I clearly remember that there has always been some doubts over the way Word automatically detects different languages: Cindy is definitely the person to know about it. Administrative Installation + Remove components Posted: 22 Nov 2006 07:45 AM PST Hi, Thank you very much. It works fine. But ... I have to continue my work. I have to install Office 2003. Just Outlook and all tools. I create a .mst with ork 2003. And run Setuppro.exe with MYTRANSFORMS Installation begins and completes but just tools are installed. Nor Outllok, nor Office Assistant is there. What is wrong ? Ludovic. "Bob Buckland ?:-)" wrote: |
Office 2007 RTM Volume License Keys Posted: 22 Nov 2006 06:59 AM PST Hi Bob, I've tried the VLK for Office 2007 Groove. And it doesn't work with the version downloaded from MSDN. So is are there also two versions of Groove? Ralf |

Posted: 22 Nov 2006 02:59 AM PST Hi Bob Thanks a lot for your feedback. Pre-creating a LIS sounds like it might be an interesting option, but I'll need to find the time to check it out! Cheers, Steve "Bob Buckland ?:-)" wrote: |
