Microsoft CRM Outlook Client

The following rules apply to Microsoft CRM Sales for Outlook (the Outlook
client).

· The language edition of the Outlook client must match the language
editions of Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional or Microsoft Windows XP
Professional.

· The language edition of the Outlook client must match the language
edition of Microsoft Office (more specifically, Microsoft Outlook).

· The language edition of the Outlook client must match the language
edition of the Microsoft CRM Server application. For example, you cannot use
German Outlook client on a system running English Microsoft CRM Server
application.

Except for Dutch and Danish Outlook client versions (Dutch and Danish
Outlook clients include English MSDE), the language edition of MSDE must
match the language edition of the Outlook client, and in turn, must match
the language version of the Microsoft SQL Server in the system

Have you tested the way to receive All the email sended to a particular
sales representative's address in his workplace email folder? Is it possible

Server Requirements (Dual Processor?)

Posted: 03 Mar 2004 07:31 AM PST

The install will not fail if you have a singe processor machine.
Assuming typical usage, this should be more than enough to support the
system. I would expect that this config would support many more users
than 10-20 so you should be safe. As with any system thoguh, you
should monitor performance to make sure you are running into problems.

the application install on a single processor box)? Or will the
installation fail?

No, you cannot customize the activity forms due to the way they are
designed.

Creating new modules

I think it isn't possible to buy only the "MSCRM framework only".
You have only a user + server module price list.

Cannot Add Users

Posted: 02 Mar 2004 10:13 AM PST

You hit the nail on the head. I did a migration about two
years ago and now that you point this issue out, those are
the accounts I do not see. I see some older accounts that
I manually created at that time, but none of the accounts
that the Exchange Migration wizard created show up on the
CRM Add User dialog.

So, does anyone know what to do to fix accounts that were
created using the Exchange Migration Wizard?
related to the fact
I setup the file
since then do. I
