To add, if using Office 2003, there is an option outlined on MS Office 2003
FAQ's site to add the two options to your start menu. You can then drag
these to your desktop (if you want)

Incomplete Office 2007 install? Where are .NET PIAs for Excel? Need VSTO?

Posted: 24 Feb 2009 10:28 PM PST

Doing a change from ARP for Office won't do much - it will offer you a viiew
of the installed features in a treeview. You can see the .NET
Programmability choice, and cancel out without doing anything.

I generally trust Microsoft product installations - from my experience
they're fine - but you're right, setups often don't get the attention they
deserve and are thrown togetherin a rush at the end of the development
cycle.

Office 2007 student & home service desk edition & product key ques

Origonally posted by Bob Buckland MVP

The Service Desk Edition is a retail product intended for use by locations
such as retailers to use to support the sales and service of the Office 2007
product. It isn't intended for general sale to the public as I understand
it.

Upgrade Office Small Business 2007

Posted: 21 Feb 2009 03:46 AM PST

See if this helps to uninstall your trial
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218/en-us
You need to uninstall any trial before you attempt to install from cd/dvd

If you dont select the upgrade option when installing 2007, Outlook 2007
will not install unless you first remove outlook 2003
IMO not using the upgrade option is a mistake, and not worth the extra
hassle
(2003 components not included in SB2007 will remain)

? Install Office 97

Posted: 18 Feb 2009 10:22 PM PST

That makes a lot of sense. It's just as well there was Office Home and
Student installed on the PC as otherwise I would have had to buy a full
version; my full version was Office 97 and I had upgrades after that.

Regards,

David W
