Templates notloading

I just installed Microsoft Office 365 University.  When I click on a template in Word, I get the error message that there was a problem downloading the template.  Any suggestions?  Other than that it works fine.

Printing a blank a page with no number showing

Posted: 22 Feb 2013 10:57 AM PST

I am using Word 2010. I am printing a blank page with no number showing

First, I have the hidden formatted characters showing and I do not see two consecutive page breaks.

Here is the sequence:

- an automatic 3 page TOC with the last page printing only a few lines at the top.

After the last TOC I inserted a Section Break (New page) because I wanted on start a new number series on the next page.

In the footer I can see the correct page number ix.

What appears to be the next page is fine with the number 1.

So all looks good, BUT when I create a pdf file I get blank no number page between ix and 1.

When I do  Print command to see the Print preview, I see the print counter for the ix page as 11.  When and i scroll down in print preview, I see the blank page with the overall page number on the print counter shows as 13.   It shows no print counter for page 12.

Whew, I hope you understand this because I had a difficulty explaining why I keep getting a blank page betwee page ix and page 1.

Thanks

Need to know

I installed Office Home and Student 2007 on a laptop which has now given up the ghost. I now have a new laptop. Can I install the same programme, using the previous disc, on my new laptop, or do I have to buy a new one?

Recording A Macro In A Template

Posted: 22 Feb 2013 01:22 AM PST

I have figured out how to record a macro in a template but wondered if there were any, "standard" or, "usual" way of doing this.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

macros in word 2013 stopped working

Posted: 21 Feb 2013 06:48 PM PST

I had created a small macro using the 'record macro' service in Word2013.

Now, when I try 'record macro' and try to 'assign macro to button' I get:

The function you are attempting to run contains macros or content that requires macro language support. When this software was installed, you chose not to install support for macros or controls.

I did create one macro and assigned it to a button. I get this same message when trying to execute it now. It had worked.

Don't know what I have done to start to get this message.

Normal won't stay on Styles Gallery

From the Home tab, Styles group, with Normal selected, at some point I did something to make that disappear from the list permanently. I can get it to display temporarily (Styles dialog box launcher; Styles pane, click Normal list arrow; Add to Style Gallery), but when I open a new blank document, Normal is gone again from the gallery. How can I get it back. Thanks in advance.
