Groupwise to Excahnge Migration Posted: 27 Feb 2009 08:32 AM PST Mark A. Dudley <com> wrote: Yes, it should be, definitely! But an hour for a mailbox sounds like a lot. How big is the mailbox? What network speed? etc. If you want to do this in stages, flip the mail delivery to Exchange, and have the "unmigrated" users access their Exchange mailboxes via OWA while keeping GW open for older items. You can access GW in Outlook, you know. At least you used to be able to. I haven't used GW for a while. |
Outlook Anywhere authentication method automatically changed Posted: 26 Feb 2009 07:43 PM PST On Feb 27, 8:05am, chriske911 <chriske911n...@m.yahoo.com> wrote: Thanks, but I didn't have any luck. I tried using a GPO to set the authentication method to Kerberos/NTLM. When that didn't work, I tried just NTLM. These changes had no effect on the clients. |

Outlook Web Access - Password issue Posted: 24 Feb 2009 01:52 PM PST If it helps figure out a solution, at my own outside desktop, it only seems to be MS Office attachments. I use Foxit Reader and PDFs open right up in a new Browser. If I am at a system with just Adobe I am forced to save the file before opening. For Office (.doc, .xls) I am prompted to Open, Save, or Cancel, THEN credentials are requested again. "C. Newell" <net> wrote in message news:phx.gbl... |
Posted: 24 Feb 2009 07:31 AM PST I created a test mailbox & set the limit to 0 and logged onto it using OWA. When I create a new message & hit send, I get the popup stating I exceeded my mailbox limit. At that point, I hit save and it seems to save the message but I cannot find where it saves to. It's not in my 'Drafts' folder. Where does it go? Thanks.... "Ed Crowley [MVP]" wrote: |
Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed Posted: 24 Feb 2009 02:14 AM PST Woody <microsoft.com> wrote: So you never get an NDR? What if you use message tracking? What about the static IP & PTR questions? Maybe, but it would be better to find the cause. You might want to crank up SMTP logging. |
Failover SCR - ESEUTIL /R /A - how much Time ? Posted: 24 Feb 2009 12:46 AM PST Where do you see the requirement to run ESEUTIL? -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .. "Exchange2007-Q" <microsoft.com> wrote in message news:com... |
Brought new Exchange server online and want to retire the primary Posted: 23 Feb 2009 02:58 PM PST Actually I should have mentioned on the 2000 to 2003 article, follow it step by but start at section 2. From there follow it along! No, the new server will always be the second server and that is just fine. Once you are done with all the move processes, then you remove the first server. So I would follow the Mchange.org article, then drop back and do the MS KB to finish things up! Once you are satisfied everything is working right, shut down the Exchange services on the old server for a week or two to make sure everything works before uninstalling Exchange. Exchange not saving e-mail on server by default. Posted: 21 Feb 2009 10:20 AM PST Rob <nospam> wrote: Hi - I replied to your identical post in another group, and I believe others did too. In the future, please don't multipost - if you need to post to multiple groups, it's best to crosspost instead, by posting a single message to a handful of relevant groups (separate the NG names with commas) so that everyone can follow the thread. Multiposting wastes everyone's time, including yours, and may lead to your actually getting *less* help rather than more. See http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/mul_crss.htm |
SAN Certificate on NLBC CAS Nodes Posted: 20 Feb 2009 11:59 AM PST If you didn't get the option to make it exportable, just go back to the vendor and tell them that you made a mistake in the request process. They will not penalize you for this. They will let you resubmit the request, as long as the domain names are the same as in the original request. Outlook 07: Rule only working sporadically Posted: 18 Feb 2009 10:37 PM PST Boppy <com> wrote: That is going to double your mailbox size and still makes no sense to me. I also do a *lot* of filing of my correspondence. Do you know about "Find Related Messages" and search folders? When you find what you want, Select All & right-click Move to Folder. That's how I do it. Works perfectly and I don't end up with duplicate cr@p all over my mailbox :-) Regardless, Outlook rules are entirely Outlook things, and there's more expert help to be had in the OL newsgroup. |
