"Test email" fails in attempt to setup MS Outlook 2003 Posted: 12 May 2008 04:37 PM PDT Hi Milly, Do you think you will be able to help me now that I've given the additional information you requested? "Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: |
Posted: 12 May 2008 04:15 AM PDT If you have lost the key you may try using all 1s then all 2s then all 3s until it successfully takes the key. Make sure the second section of 3 characters is OEM however. It works for some of MSs earlier versions of office (even Publisher 98) Since it doesn't have to be activated to update to SP2b there is no issue. Use Office 2003 and 2007 concurrently Posted: 11 May 2008 01:02 PM PDT DL, I don't use Outlook so that's not a problem. I use WLM. But, since I want 2003 to be the default, should I install 2007 first, update it, and then install 2003 as the last installation? Actually, I was ok with the learning curve on 2007, I just prefer the simplicity of 2003. Thanks, Tom "DL" <address@invalid> wrote in message news:Os$phx.gbl... |

Office tries to repair/reinstall Posted: 08 May 2008 08:04 AM PDT Hi, Of course I already tried to set the file association, I tried it in every possible way. (Open with, from file options etc). Nothing works. Now more and more users are getting the problem that Office reinstalls, or sometimes that office doesn't work correctly. If I give them back their admin rights (as they had during office installation, we have no sms/system center) the problem goes away and Office works again. Why is this? Giving admin rights to everyone is not a good way to solve it. Office should not be dependant on admin rights. PLease advice. Regards, Anne ""Emily Lin"" wrote: |
25 character product key for MICROSOFT OFFICE HOME AND STUDENT 20. Posted: 07 May 2008 01:09 PM PDT You should have received the serial number by email when you registered to download the product. If you supplied a bogus email (many people do!) then tough luck. You will need to register again to get a working serial number. hth manish wrote: |
