Posted: 09 Aug 2005 11:49 AM PDT Fraid not. However, you can change it after the fact with workflow or via the "assign" action. Customisation of Avticity View Posted: 08 Aug 2005 10:09 PM PDT Thanks Rob. Had a quick look and this looks like I will be able to customise the views I need. Thanks again Graeme "Rob Bakkers" wrote: |
Posted: 08 Aug 2005 12:17 PM PDT Not sure if you were suppossed to get 5 licenses or not. If so, then you need to contact MBS (or your reseller) and ask them to help you out. A new set of license keys will need to be genned to get you 15 users. We thought that we would be getting 5 licenses with this module. We needed 15 users so we purchased an additional 10 licenses (CRM English Lic/SA Pack OLP NL SalesStnd 1 User* for WinSBSPrem, Quantity 10). When I entered the license authorization number into the CRM 1.2 installation, it states that we have 10 users. Shouldn't we have 15 users? Did PC Connection sell us the wrong thing? |

300 contacts duplicated in 2 minutes unintentionally *help* Posted: 08 Aug 2005 05:29 AM PDT The user is doing something that is causing this. They just aren't owning up to it. The app doesn't have anything in it that automatically creates records like this, it must be driven by a process (either SDK code or an import). viewed records from a business unit Posted: 08 Aug 2005 05:20 AM PDT Sounds like the problem may be the security descriptor did not update properly after the role change. If that's the case, there are really only 2 options: 1) use the tool to rebuild them 2) Change a role again and hope the update propogates properly this time. It is also possible that one of the users has been shared the other records. This can happen if the user ever owned the records. (I work with him). Firstly, thanks for your reply. In the first link it says to get a hotfix from microsoft. We have got this and installed it but with no change. Step 3 and 4 of this KB doent it says to use the CRM Admin Tool and CRM AD Recovery Tool as you have suggested. I have requested them off Microsoft. Although the first patch didn't seem to change anything is there any other things to look at before I get these tools and use them? Thanks again, Nathan "Shawn Nulph" wrote: ve provided below. Outlook email promotion to CRM email activity and tracking. Posted: 06 Aug 2005 12:04 PM PDT thans Matt. I appreciate that. We use Promote a lot and it has sped up if you are working away on CRM and have promoted at least 5 items. It starts to work a bit faster. Any ideas on that? "MattNC" wrote: |
