Posted: 21 Dec 2007 10:54 PM PST :::: I too face a similar situation. In my case the missing fil is:-SKU012.CAB. I am getting regular updates from Microsoft, but for Office 2003 SP3 since the file is about 117MB,I downloaded it from Microsoft Downloa Center and tried to install it,as guided by MS Site and Forums.Bu installation stopped showing the error:-"Microsoft Standard Editio 2003 installation error-file not found:A required installation file: SKU012.CAB could not be found. Insert the CD or browse to the installation source in your network." Since the CD is misplaced and not traceable,I tried al forums, support.Microsoft and pointed it to i386, but still th installer did not respond. In MSOCACHE and in i386 the file is i SKU012.xml.I've run the Windows Installer Clean up Utility and remove Microsoft OfficeStandard Edition 2003 as per the guide i support.microsoft.com/kb/290301,as seen in Mary Sauer's Notes in thi Forum, but did not yield any result. *Is there any solution for this?* I don't know why Microsoft does not give a smooth installation to thi Office2003SP3 -- BMENO ----------------------------------------------------------------------- BMENON's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=3797 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=87641 http://forums.techarena.i |

Posted: 21 Dec 2007 10:57 AM PST Don't look at the EILA online - read the one that is installed on your computer. THAT'S that one that counts. The part about how many computers you cna install it on is generally in the first section. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] ~~~~~ How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/KB/555375 "KitchenSuccess" <microsoft.com> wrote in message news:com... |

Posted: 18 Dec 2007 04:30 PM PST Hi Thanks again for your help. I shall head down that path. Kiwi, when referring to fruit, is actually a shortened name from Kiwifruit. A true Kiwi is a small flightless bird that lives in forests in New Zealand and is the country's national animal. So as I am 6'7" tall and a NZer I qualify as a Big Kiwi, but not a big fruit. I hope you have a great Christmas, and thanks so much for your help. :-) Cheers Simon T. "JoAnn Paules" wrote: |

In Explorer check or set the read only flag to off. Within Outlook, File >Open>Data File.....browse to the location.
