Duration problem

That indeed sounds like a very different problem!
It's not something I recognize.
Would you send the file to
jandemesATprom-adeDOTbe
replacing AT and DOT by the appropriate signs?
I shall look at it and come back ASAP.

Project Resource Gap Analysis

Hi,

Forgive me for bumping in.
I would filter on "contain" to include tasks with more than 1 resource.

Single level Milestone roll up

Posted: 16 Nov 2005 02:25 PM PST

Hi,

You can only stop the rolling up at summary task level.
You cannot tell a milestone to rollup only one level.

Does Project Professional 2003 come with Server CAL?

Posted: 16 Nov 2005 02:25 PM PST

EED,

You should note that most of the responses here are NOT official responses
from Microsoft and that license agreements are complicated and varied so
there may be possibilities and restrictions that people here are not aware
of. You might want to contact Microsoft directly to find a definitive answer
to the question. In my limited experience I've only seen project pro with an
included CAL. It is almost like a "free" CAL so I'd expect the price with or
without it would be the same.

MS Project Professional 2002

Posted: 16 Nov 2005 02:17 PM PST

Jan

I set that up once I completed the subprojects. All the links are there. The
problem occurs when one or more task finishes and the next task or tasks
begin. The dates dovetail correctly, but in resource usage the hours are not
calculated correctly.

Thanks for your response,

Richard

I do have access and have made some attempt at pulling in the information I
need. I have to look further into it. Thanks for your suggestion.

Calculating a parent WBS using a text column

Posted: 16 Nov 2005 09:19 AM PST

I just tried this and it seemed to work:
Text3 = parent
Text4 = WBS

IIf(right(left([Text4],len([Text4])-2),1)=".",left([Text4],len([Text4])-3),left([Text4],len([Text4])-2))
