No color with text or art work in documents??? Posted: 23 Dec 2012 10:15 AM PST How do I get my text color feature to work? I've done everything they have said to try and although if I highlight text it will show in the text mode in the ribbon but the actual text does not change to the color indicated. Obviously very annoying when you are trying for a design such as for an ad or cover sheet or a school paper. Figures and shapes and text boxes also no color. But, do indicate the color is there in the ribbon. Is this a defect in my software? It is 32 bit Home Office and Student 2012. |
Posted: 23 Dec 2012 08:49 AM PST I need to use Microsoft Word for a course I'm taking. When I click on it in the menu I get the Home and Student 2007 verison pop up asking for prod. key, saying I don't have to enter it, but will help with proving my license. It will not accept the number and gives 25 uses before functionality is lost, I believe. The number was entered correctly. It then says if you want to use home and student programs you must enter number, obviously I can't, so it says, configuration can not take place. I would like to know if I have two versions of Microsoft Office Word 2007, or are the Microsoft office programs listed in menu all part of the 60 day online trial? Where do I look? I know I could of said this with less words, sorry, novice speaking . Thank you.

Posted: 17 Dec 2012 03:45 PM PST Original Title: Microsoft Office
I purchased Microsoft Office and thought it included Microsoft Publisher as well. I later found out that it didn't so I was wondering if I downloaded the Microsoft Office Free Trial, will my purchased Microsoft Office be deleted when the 60 day trial is up? |

Posted: 17 Dec 2012 11:27 AM PST Is there a way to exit a field in a locked form using a return key press or a tab key press? Every time I press RETURN in trying build a macro, the box closes. I want folks to be able to press the RETURN key to move from one field to another, and not place a line return at the end of the field. I'm trying to get either tab or return to move to the next field. |
Problem openning a word document in full screen Posted: 17 Dec 2012 11:07 AM PST By default, Word 2010 open my document in full screen until I minimize a word window. (Word 2010 on WinXP)
Here is how to replicate the problem. (no word open)
Open a folder with a couple of word documents in it (a window). Open a word document by a double-click on it (should open in full screen). Without touching this word window, click on the same folder on the task bar and then open another word document by a double-click on it. It should also open in full screen.
Now, close all word windows. Using the same folder, open a word document by a double-click on it (should open in full screen). Minimize or reduce this word windows. Using the same folder, open another word document by a double-click on it, it will open in a reduce window instead of a full window.
It seam that is use the size of the last word window, instead the default size.
Anyone know how to fix this ?
Thanks! |
cannot access existing documents Posted: 17 Dec 2012 10:50 AM PST My windows trial has expired and I have downloaded Abiword free I was able to access my documents until the last updates. Why can't I access and change existing docs and if I cannot how do I make them accessable to other program. |
Posted: 17 Dec 2012 10:33 AM PST How can I create a document format for technical manual that looks like the following
1.0 Header a. Some Text b. Some text 1.2 some Tx a. Some Text 1. List item 2. List item etc.
I've set up a series of styles and after using a sldge hammer approach it works but "alpha text" for the sentance or paragraph doesn't hold.
As move through the doc or close - reopen the file the "alpha characters" change to something else.
Can I pay someone to set me up a style sheet or template.?
