Need help after installing new motherboard Posted: 18 Jun 2004 11:52 AM PDT As far as I'm aware transfer wizard acts on files only. When you install an app it applies/registers numerous settings in the registry these you cannot copy, leastways not in the way you wish. If you cannot locate yr QP you can allways ebay for one, or borrow. I should point out that yr Licence for the OfficeXP upgrade requires that you have the QP. Office 2003 - error - Image Writer not installed Posted: 17 Jun 2004 09:13 AM PDT Hello Bob, First thanks for the information! I tried this and was not successful; the print setup is still not in place. I can see were a port was created but the printer is not. When trying to select the Image Writer using the advance option, the setting is already selected; however the results are not as expected. Do you have another suggestion? Thanks again! I have just installed Office Pro 97. It installed successfully without errors. I go to run Access and immediately it comes up with the following error: Microsoft Access can't start because there is no license for it on this machine. This software was previously installed and removed by Add/Remove programs without error. My question is what needs to be done to correct this problem so I can again use Access. >> -- I hope this helps you, Bob Buckland ?:-) MS Office System Products MVP *Courtesy is not expensive and can pay big dividends* Office 2003 explained http://microsoft.com/uk/office/editions.asp |

Posted: 16 Jun 2004 07:01 AM PDT Hy, that doesn't help me. I want to know which components are already installed on the system. When i run my Installation, a MessageBox should show, if the .net programmability Support or the .net programmability Support for Smarttags or both are not installed. And for that i need a registry key or something like that... ? Peter |
Posted: 15 Jun 2004 11:58 PM PDT Does not work except with Office/Windows XP.
