Partner Serial Number Issues

Hi Vipergirl,

Are these regular licenses or ones from the Partner Action Pack. If the Action Pack you may want to contact the Partner support
folks
http://partner.microsoft.com
on their policy on 'reusing' Action Pack activations.

We are a Microsoft Solutions Partner and have had a situation with several of
our sales reps. These reps are no longer with our company so we uninstalled
Office 2007 from their systems. We have a total of 10 licenses, 4 of which
were uninstalled from their system. Now we have 2 new sales reps that are
unable to install Office 2007 because it says that all the activations have
been used. Is there a way to get the 4 that we uninstalled back for use?

I spoke with someone on the phone who said, "Sure, just re-install the
software" but that didnt work. >>

Removing bad Office 2007 and Installing trail

Posted: 01 Jul 2008 07:33 AM PDT

If you installed one version of Office you should use the add remove
dialogue to uninstall that version, then clean up temp files (Disk Cleanup)
re boot your PC prior to installing another version of Office

The installation key you may have will only work on the version it was
supplied for.
Does download mean install from Disk or Internet download? and if internet
download did you save the download file?
Do you have any version of Office on cd/dvd, if so what versions?

Office 2007 backup start

Posted: 30 Jun 2008 12:23 PM PDT

As this is an OEM product supplied with your PC, it is the PC supplier who
supplies the disks, not MS.
The OEM key will not work with a trial edition that you downloaded from MS

How do I suggest activation limit of MS Office Professional 2007?

Posted: 27 Jun 2008 11:30 AM PDT

Here's the formula:
Computers = Cars
Cars need licensed drivers
Computers need licensed drivers (softwares)
Licensed drivers can drive more than two owned cars
Licensed drivers (softwares should be able to drive more than two computers.

SP3 problems

Posted: 27 Jun 2008 10:32 AM PDT

As Carey says -

There is no SP3 for Office 2007. There IS an SP3 for Office 2003, and there
is an SP1 for Office 2007. There is also an SP3 for Windows XP, and an SP1
for Windows Vista. So, which SP did you actually apply?

You may want to uninstall and reinstall your Office, just to ensure you have
the right stuff there.

Installation options for Office Enterprise 2007

Posted: 26 Jun 2008 06:09 PM PDT

In addition to Jim's comment, you can replace your installation of Office
2003 with elements of 2007 or install 2007 in addition to 2003 EXCEPT
Outlook. You cannot have two versions of Outlook installed.

Installing Office 2003 on XP

Posted: 25 Jun 2008 09:26 PM PDT

Thank you, I have a complaint in with Amozon. The strange thing is that the
discs look official with the prismatic logo and everything, They are Discs 1
and 2 respectively, however they both give the same results (The BCM error).
Are there supposed to be other discs as well? The case looks as if there
should have been more discs in the spindle.

Thanks so much.

Thanx.

I'll take a look at the CD.
You'd think that there'd be accompanying doentation on how to install.

I read the appendix on installing in the MSFT PRess Inside Out book, did not
notice anything about this. Might be covered within the book.

Home & Student 2007 Trial Version

Thanks DL but tried all that you suggested and I still cannot enter data in
any of the programs i.e. toolbar still remains shaded and no data can be
input. I have now activated about 10 times now. What if I uninstall the
pre-programmed version and reinstall a new version? Would this help?
