The university installed 2007 on it and I do not have the CDs. If I mess it
up I will have to take it back for them to fix. I think I may try to
install 2003 (without Outlook) and see what happens.

I am not sure.
Have you try using
Microsoft Office 2003 Save My Settings Wizard
It should be in Office tools folder.
Let me know.
