Upgrading to 2007, need to keep Word 2003

Posted: 06 Feb 2007 06:59 PM PST

hmmm..if you bought a separate retail copy, then it'd follow like this

Install Office 2003
Install Word 2007, check the box to leave the previous version
install Office 2007, and choose not to install Word.

MAPI32.DLL Missing or Corrupt

Posted: 06 Feb 2007 03:46 PM PST

I get the same message when I try to uninstall: "Installation source not
available..." I tried running Install Cleanup and that gave a run time and
system error. Surely, there must be a way to uninstall from scratch. Now I
can't do anything. This is killing me.

do differently?

2007 Beta Office Pro

If you have tried all the suggestions regarding Uninstalling the Office
Beta, the only recourse is to reformat your hard drive. You say "not
acceptable", unfortunately that is a risk you take when you install a BETA
product on a production machine.

Windows Installer Pop-ups

Posted: 05 Feb 2007 12:13 PM PST

I am aware of this program. I had to use it to fix a problem uninstalling a
program. With all the warnings it is a little scary. The question is what do
I do? "remove" Small Business Office 2003? It says it will not remove this
program so I am not sure what it will do.

Does Office 2007 Have Activation?

Thank you! I'll be setting this up soon for the test. If I have problems
when the time comes to uninstall Office 2007, I'll try phone support.

Update Various Office Versions to Office 2007 Home and Student

Posted: 04 Feb 2007 09:05 PM PST

I found that out JoAnn. I installed it this afternoon and everything
took care of itself just fine. The old programs are still
functioning, and it even left PowerPoint 97 and didn't over-write it.
Might need it someday, but have no idea why. :-) Thanks.

Thanks _ I managed to solve this by using word install directly from the DVD
rather than going throught the works suite install procedure
