how to customize pick list such as industry Posted: 09 Jul 2004 02:38 AM PDT Thanks for the fast reply! I know I have to map the attribute. My problem is that the id in the 2 lists are not the same! Is it possible to have the same id in both lists and if yes, how? Example: Industry picklist of Accounts ID | name 1 | "building industry" 2 | "more" .... Industry picklist of Leads ID | Name 2 | "building industry" 3 | "more" CRM maps only with Id's so I have a problem when I convert a lead with industry ID 2("building industry") to an account, the account will have "more" as the value. "Cameron" <microsoft.com> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:com... (say Accounts) and then select the field you want to edit and then change properties - you can change the pick list items there. You will need to map new items in the Schema manager if you want them to come across from Leads to Accounts. an in adapt accounts? |
Finding the right MICROSOFT.CRM.PLATFORM.PROXY.DLL Posted: 09 Jul 2004 01:15 AM PDT Yes it is. However I didn't reference System.Web.Services, so that was the problem. Thanx anyway! -- Appa Dev, Norway "Jon" wrote: |
Posted: 08 Jul 2004 05:16 PM PDT Robert, Are you using IE ? You don't get quote mail merge in IE. You have to use Sales for Outlook client and then the direct mail option becomes a mail merge option. Your alternative is to look for a third party add on for IE that would allow this. Web Access failed for machine other than WinXP Posted: 08 Jul 2004 01:51 AM PDT No, got "The page cannot be displayed" error. It can't be the permission error because I've tested the login on the WinXP machine and it works alright. However, the machine can access other application (e.g. Sharepoint Portal Server) that resides in the same server as CRM. Regards, JM "John" <com> wrote in message news:phx.gbl... checked Windows |
