I think you're going to have to use an Outlook rule on the mailbox to
discard what you don't want.

BTW, if you don't involve the people that use the system in reporting
problems then you're doing them, and you, a disservice. If the people
you work for demand 100% error-free operation then e-mail isn't for
them.

Trying to uninstall exchange 2000 from server in my site

Posted: 21 Apr 2005 01:49 PM PDT

Thanks for the article but i do not want to completely remove exchange from
acitive directory. doing so would completely break the existing exchange
site that i have with exchange 2003 located in it. Following those
instructions would remove my organization(which i share with 20 other
exchange servers) that needs to stay.

Recipient Update Service (RUS) not updating

Posted: 21 Apr 2005 12:40 PM PDT

This is what I did and it seems to have fixed the problem. On the
"Recipient Update Service (mydomain) I change the "Update interval:" to "Use
custom schedule" and set the interval to run every 15 mins. RUS now runs
every min and it takes 5-6 mins to stamps the objects in AD.

Why "Always run" stopped working? I don't know, but setting the "Update
interval:" seems to have fixed my problem. If anyone has any ideas, please
let me know. Thanks for you help anyway!

Migration from exchange 200 to exchange 2003

Posted: 21 Apr 2005 07:31 AM PDT

If you are talking about performing an in-place upgrade of your existing
server to W2K3 and E2K3, I would advise you to upgrade Exchange first, as
Exchange 2000 will not run on Windows 2003.

Cheers,
