Problem installing Microsoft Works 2000

Posted: 04 Jun 2004 03:44 AM PDT

The only thing I can think of is maybe the CD's are
damaged and some things might not install. Maybe
scratches on them? Other than that I can't think of
anything.

Merging Works Database into Word Envelope

Posted: 01 Jun 2004 08:16 PM PDT

In my version of Word(Word 2000) you can save a document
in Works format. If you do that, you should have no
problems with the envelope function of the word processor
that comes with works.

Works 7.0 will not install

Posted: 31 May 2004 06:50 PM PDT

There is a label with 3 barcodes and several long
numbers. I tried 3 different numbers as Product Id, and
none of them worked. Just now I noticed there is another
number I didn't try. Guess had better try that one. Web
site could have mentioned the label and told which number
it is. That woulda saved me a lot of time. That's
assuming this other number is the one.

Can't find File

Thank you for your suggestion. However, I don't think it has to do with FTM
but rather with the Search engine. When there is a file containing certain
words, no matter what the format of the file, Search should be able to find it,
don't you agree?

Hi Dave,

Perhaps the following knowledge base articles, the first one references
error messages.

Hi Ken,

I've uninstalled the update and am still having the same
problem. My address book saves all birthdays as Jan 01.
Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Jennifer, you'd be best off following Kevin's advice about checking
your settings, and then stick with the latest updates of version 4.5 -
that's the best version of Works ever -- I've used it ever since it
came out, through Windows, Win98, WinME and now WinXP.

Brochure Background color

You are correct. Thank you so much for solving my
probem. I selected "no watermark" and the background was
gone. Don't know what I (and others) would do without
you helpful folks out there that gives their time to
assist others.

Thanks again.
