I'd still try it with standard text inside a html signature to see if it's a

Outlook clients are in cached mode. Some have this address listed as a safe

Domino routes to an Exchange bridgehead who send on the message via the

I found 4 references to the name of the domain. Can I just change one or
two letters of the domain name and allow it to be there with the wrong
spelling. This way the correct name would work and the misspelled name will
be there but since no one is going to send to the misspelled name, I should
be ok?

Does that make sense?

Values after export

Posted: 14 Oct 2005 08:06 AM PDT

By "exported contact information" do you mean you used the export-to-excel
functionality or that you went directly to the database? If it's the latter,
and I suspect it is :), then you'll get numeric values for picklist,
boolean, state, and status codes. The system was designed to support
multiple organizations and multiple languages. That's why there's no
"simple" way to get the actual string values. However, there are several
examples on the newsgroup of how to do the JOIN from the contact table to
stringmap. If you really want to export data from CRM without using either
the platform APIs (my recommendation) or the export-to-excel functionality,
then you'll need to drop into unsupported territory and write the SQL.

We have a similar issue where an ADU was deleted first from AD but their

attempted to revoke their CRM license within the app, it states that it
cannot be found. I can't seem to find support doentation that provides

DO NOT DELETE the records from the SQLDB. We attempted to do so being in a
similar situation and we ended up needing to do a critical restore twice from
BU because it corrupted the chain association in the app/db.

We have found that if you completed remove the user from CRM and refresh
records, it will remove their name/info from drop-down lists, etc. Also
updating and customizing views can assist in this 'refresh'

ACCOUNT-Contact-Opportunity relationship

Posted: 13 Oct 2005 09:50 AM PDT

There are cases where you might have a business model that doesn't include
accounts. CRM was designed to support both business-to-business and
business-to-consumer models. That's why you can tie an opportunity to either
an account or a contact. That said, you've already noticed that the
relationship is optional. We received a lot of feedback during 1.x design
that this was a good thing, so we kept it. I actually like the model that
uses lead for this unbound opportunity (because, if it's unbound, who's the
customer - lead has this information).

Hi Ronald,

Yes that was the first thing I did. I doublechecked it just now to make sure
too. :) Anonymous access is disabled. I noticed another post that stated that
it could be a DNS/AD tion issue. I'm not quite sure that it's a
problem with CRM. I think it might be more of a problem with my server. We
recently brought this W2K3 server onto our SBS2003 domain. I have my DNS
entry on the CRM server pointing to our SBS2003 server, but I'm not sure if
there is anything else that I would have had to do. It's still just a
standalone 2K3 server - not a backup DC. Is there anything I could have
missed when I joined it to the domain? Thanks in advance!

It looks like that using VPN bit longer causes computer to drop out from
domain and reboot/restart is needed to get it fully back online. Outlook
calendar / exchange works, but asks password after longer VPN session, this
is why I think that computer is no longer in domain then.

I use VPN to contact our customer's systems when problems arise, so
connection is opened rather randomly and also often.

Maybe this helps somebody that encounters same kind of problems, it is sure
one thing to check.

would have to go to Outlook for this to happen. So, to answer question if
its not in Outlook then it most likely did not come from Exchange Server but
without the original message its hard to tell. You can check your Mailbox

Dell makes money selling hard disks, right? There is no replacement for

periodic backup in my mind.

I'm not sure what you mean exaclty, or what Dell means, but backup to disk
might make sense. In that case you should probably consider cheap
large-capacity ATA disks. A RAID-5 array of 1TB ATA disks would be fine for
a backup array to replace a tape system.

Long and short of it is move all user mailboxes before setting an Exchange

The 2003 ESM installed on the BES server needed to match the 2003 ESM

| Hello,
|
| It seems some of your customers using widescreen starts Word default
blank
| page as left-aligned. You noticed they once installed Microsoft Works 9.
If
| there is any incorrect, don't hesitate to let me know.
|
| To troubleshoot the issue, please first use "winword /a" command to start
| Word in safe mode.
|
| Click start, click run, type "winword /a", does the new blank file start
in
| left-aligned or centred?
|
| If the blank doent is centred in Word safe mode, please perform the
| following steps in the article 921541 to troubleshoot the issue further:
|
| Delete the Word Data registry key
| Delete the Word Options registry key
| Rename the Normal.dot or Normal.dotm global template file
| Disable the Startup folder add-ins
| Delete the COM add-ins registry key
| Determine which COM add-in program is causing the problem
|
| 921541 How to troubleshoot problems that occur when you start or
| use Word 2007, Word 2003, or Word 2002
| http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;921541
|
| If the issue persists in"winword /a", please start a new user profile on
| the machine to see if the issue could be solved on the new profile.
|
| Thank you. If there is any update, feel free to post back.

| | Hi,
| |
| | I'm an IT Technician and my customers are mainly home users and one-man
| | businesses. I'm often asked to install Office 2007 for my customers
| (ususally
| | Home & Student Edition or Standard, depending if home user or business
| user)
| | and after the last two installs I've noticed that when Word starts the
| | initial blank page is left-aligned (the customer's are using widescreen
| | monitors). I run Word 2007 on a widescreen monitor and when I open Word
| the
| | blank page is centred.
| |
| | I've tried changing the view but i haven't been able to resolve this
| issue
| | for my two customers, can anyone help? I'm not sure if this is related
| but
| | both these customers had started up Microsoft Works 9 before I
installed
| | Office 2007.
| |
|
|

Oldie but goodie??

FYI- found an old copy of FP98(full version). Loaded first and now O2k is
installing just fine.

Thanks, Now I can get back to 'playing' with stuff. :)

Office Small Business 2007 w/Office Pro 2007 Trial - Invalid key

Posted: 06 Oct 2008 10:18 PM PDT

hi,
Be sure to open the jacket or email which has product key and find out the
edition of ofice.

1 edition of office would not accept PK of another edition.

Hence if you have a diferent edition installed on the computer, uninstall
all these trial software.

1. now put your PK at microsoft.com/office/backup
2. and click "order now"
3. on next page dont put your adress to order,, scroll down and click
;download.
4. type your email address
5. it send an email whcih will have downalod link
6. downalod this office, this is the right edition of office for your PK
which you can install and activate.
