Hey Garfield,

If I knew where you were I'd make you the biggest dish of Lasagna you've
ever seen.

Thanks very much for the advice, it worked perfectly. You just saved a man's
life. He was on the edge & ready to jump!!!

Thanks again,

Dave.

Office 2003 and 2007 on same machine.

Posted: 10 Jun 2007 09:18 PM PDT

I have had a similar problem trying to run office XP and 2003 on the same
machine. I too wish to switch back and forth between different versions of
Access and get a similar message from the Windows Installer. (See my post in
this list -- 'XP and 2003 on the same machine' 06-10-07). I found the
solution was to install Office 2003 in a entirely different directory than XP
and to copy the entire contents of the 2003 install CD into that directory.
Windows installer still kicks in for a few seconds but I can now swtich back
and forth between versions of Access without having to insert the install CD.

Then I suspect you have pressed "R" for RECOVERY CONSOLE, and are not doing
a repair INSTALL. The two are entirely different operations. reboot from
your Windows XP CD and do NOT choose the "Recovery Console" option.

The above refers to Office2003 I guess Office2007 would be similar/same

Product Key doesn't working

There has been a number of articles over here as to whether much of the MS
EULA and their other License agreements are actually legally
enforceable.(this applies to other sofware manufacturers as well)
Unfortunately they dont appear to have been tested in court; - I'm not
refering to illegal copying.

Office Enterprise 2007

Many thanks Bob, I've also discovered that if I copy a graphic into word and
then double click outside the graphic it will highlight it and then allow me
to copy and paste either with the copy function or right click provided I
stay outside the highlighted graphic.

At least I can do what I want to now thanks to your advice.

Error 1907. Could not register font. -- while installing Office 07 on Vista

Posted: 08 Jun 2007 04:14 AM PDT

Hi Kaj,

I too have had this problem and found a partial solution today (thanks
Brink). Go to http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/66978-system-files.html?ltr=S
and run the SCANNOW function - then reboot.

It removed the font problem I was having but not the underlying Office
"Application Configuration Change" that prompted the font error.

Good luck
