Posted: 09 Jul 2006 09:57 PM PDT Thanks mark, we basically have two sites A & B, with Exchange 2k3 at one of them. We want to introduce anther server at a remote site for redundancy and as much as we can DR. Have been looking in to complete server replication between the sites using third party, potentially using a clustering solution also. Failing this, we could just implement the 2 servers, one at each location with the site specific users homed on the relevant server. I guess in the event of DR we could then restore mailboxes to the opposite server. I am having to learn the Exchange ropes on the job at the mo.. "Mark Arnold [MVP]" wrote: |

weird undescriptive undeliverable Posted: 06 Jul 2006 06:37 AM PDT Yeah that was for privacy purposes. The thing is, these same users are sent to all the time and occasionally this undeliverable comes up. All the other times messages go through fine. It can be with or without attachments. Thanks Ward! How do you mail enable a folder? disable? Posted: 06 Jul 2006 02:21 AM PDT Thanx - found it! I don't think I would have been game to try 'overwrite settings' without your encouragement, and I was relieved to see that when I did, it gave me a choice of which settings I was going to overwrite. Can Journaling be restricted to certain mailboxes? Posted: 05 Jul 2006 11:34 AM PDT What I usually recommend to my customers is that they create a specific mailbox store for the mailboxes that must be journaled. For example, a customer that has some users that are affected by the U.S. law Sarbanes Oxley, we create a mailbox store just for those mailboxes and enable journaling on that store only. -- Jim McBee Blog - http://mostlyexchange.blogspot.com "Andrew Vital" <microsoft.com> wrote in message news:com... |

RPC over HTTP - RPC and SSL issue Posted: 04 Jul 2006 10:01 AM PDT Dear Ben, Thanks for your help. Finally I managed to make it work. What I did: ++ Create a WEB certificate under IIS (right-click on Default Web site, Properties, Directory Security tab, view Server certificate). ++ Type in mail.mycompany.com as the name of the certificate (my problem was there: I didn't type the right name...) ++ Request the certificate on the client desktop, etc. The rest was fine...
