Exchange router on Clustered Exchange 2k Posted: 30 Jul 2004 11:21 AM PDT I did a POC of this to a client. We are not in production with it though, but I got it to work in a lab. Posted: 30 Jul 2004 11:17 AM PDT Barry, Have you looked at PostCallout? Basically, you can register a COM dll that will respond to a Post (Add/Update/Delete) of any record in CRM. There is an example on MSDN. Stephen "Barry" <microsoft.com> wrote in message news:756601c47661$694129c0$gbl... |

Posted: 30 Jul 2004 07:30 AM PDT this problem also occurs on the Home screen ie you can have many activities listed but no way of working out which actvity matches to which opportunity. In this case it would be possible to create your own custom home screen which lists more data. Of course this needs customization and or waiting to the next version -- John O'Donnell Microsoft CRM MVP "Paul McQuillan" <com> wrote in message news:733901c47641$c891d9d0$gbl... |
Posted: 30 Jul 2004 04:52 AM PDT You can use security roles to control the data your users see. YOu can set it so they see only data they own or data owned by users in their CRM business unit. Note that the security model is built around business units so it helps if you have split your users between multiple business units. Note that while you can say only show data I own etc...this gets more complciated if you want a user to see contacts attached to an account for example. I recommend you read the Implementation Guide on security then feel free to ask more questions here. Note when you make any security role changes it has to read every record in CRM so can place a large load on your servers. -- John O'Donnell Microsoft CRM MVP "Gilles Gandini" <ch> wrote in message news:cedcp2$701$ip-plus.net... |

I have a CRM 1.2 on Windows 2003 Server and this server is Domain Controller. Thanks, Carlos running - also check your SQL services - a failure on of these can lead to a failure on APS. Also check your event viewer to see where and when the failure is occuring. get starting |
