Perhaps this info from my HP printer help...

Orientation or page orientation

The direction in which information is printed on a page. Portrait
orientation prints across the width of the page, letter style.

Landscape orientation prints across the length of the page.

that is unclear, I tried lol. Plz help ASAP

Works8 Task Launcher

Posted: 22 Jan 2005 03:11 PM PST

Thanks for the response, but followed the link and came up with about 12
pages of "how to" stuff. Way too much for my limited capabilities. I need
an easier way to accomplish loading the Task Launcher. Any other choices?

Database Report Printing Problem

Posted: 22 Jan 2005 08:01 AM PST

Reports, by their very nature are indiscriminate,
I cannot see how you could do this.
Of one base I have, 29,000 records, the report on
one particular field, would show occurrences from a singleton to
24 lines.
The addition of one more record could change the matrix instantly.

It's just a bug we have to put up with.

| The trick is to give each record in your report the same number of
| lines, regardless whether the fields are filled or empty. Count the
| number of lines on your page and make this number divisble by the number
| of lines in your record. The number of lines on your page can be
| customized by your upper and lower margins.

Curiously, we have a DavidF on our stamps~discuss Newsgroup!

| Jeff Thompson...yes, that's me exactly. How did you know? ;)

Works XP and Works 2000

Posted: 19 Jan 2005 06:39 PM PST

The new computer has Works Suite 2005.
Thanks for the link and the advice. I told her to open the docs from within
Works and she said they opened fine.
Maybe we'll never know what was causing the problem, but it seems to have
been resolved.
Thanks again.

Matt, just a guess, but do you have Norton AV running? If so, try disabling
the office plugins and script blocking. These can cause a memory problem...
