Whilst you have the local knowledge I wouldn't be so quick to jump to
that conclusion. Exchange is designed to use as much memory as is can.

In any case the article does tell you where to get the update, it
links from this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/870540 where
you can download the update

Comcast.net requires valid sender domain

Again, thanks for the help. Could you tell me how to do both? I don't see a
place to change the name of the default smtp server and don't undertsand how
to set up connectors.

Again, I appreciate your assistance.

Putting anything Novell related on a Win2K3/Exchange03 server

Posted: 04 Nov 2004 12:37 PM PST

AS in my case, we aren't using GroupWise 6. We are on GW5.5. The rumor is
Novell products should never be put on an Exchange server because they
contain older versions of files, and rewrite critical systems files. I am
trying to find documentation to support this argument, but Mark's dopcument
referes to GW6. Any other suggestions/comments?

Understanding Queues

Posted: 03 Nov 2004 07:13 PM PST

Thanks for the response. This touches on the issue that sent me to the
queues in the first place. First, how can I be sure that I am not
inadvertently being used as a relay or have some other problem? Are there
other logs of messages being sent that I can review? The primary reason that
I was looking is that I am having intermittent problems sending and receiving
to some individuals and am try to figure out if the message ever went out or
if it ever got to my Exchange box. Is there a way to do that?

Again, thanks for the help.

SMTP Error Message

A user who is visiting Brazil is trying to send an e-mail to someone in
Brazil using our Exchange server in the United States. This is the first time
I have seen the error message "Direct delivery not allowed from this range."
