MS Works 7.0 Is Overriding my Palm Desktop When I Hotsync my PDA Posted: 02 Aug 2004 09:26 PM PDT I tried that. I even downloaded the latest version of Palm Desk Top from Palm Source, the software division of Palm, and installed it. I got a message stating that the Palm Desktop was not my default program for hotsync and was asked if I wanted to make it the default. I answered "yes" and it supposedly changed, but the next time I tried to hotsync my PDA it was still going to MS Works calendar and address book and hotsyncing with that. I have contacted Palm about it but have not received an answer yet. Any Ideas? Thanks Kevin, Barron http://www.btinternet.com/~kevin.james1/index.htm causing a to off |

Unable to Print from Works Spreadsheet Posted: 02 Aug 2004 01:48 PM PDT Thanks, Kevin. I have tried all four of the URLs you provided in your 9:48 AM message. I get the same message each time: "All in One Check results You are using the latest driver!". I also tried to bypass the testing for teh current driver, but receive "ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software3/COL5207/mp -17885-3/kl_ep_w01_enu.exe The page cannot be displayed". When I try to print from the Spreadsheet I receive the message "Print Driver is missing or invalid. Run Windows setup program to install the printer software again"- which I have done. Any additional help will be greatly appreciated. Posted: 02 Aug 2004 12:24 PM PDT It's got the same task launcher as Works Suite 2004, it seems after I watched the tour, and it's only about AUD$99 (that was the price I saw on Microsoft Aust. website ) "Kevin James - MSMVP Works" <org> wrote in message news:phx.gbl... |
