Posted: 27 May 2004 12:11 PM PDT It is a good idea to install Office and any other programs in a common partition. However, you still have to go through the process of installing the software under both OS so that it is regisered properly under both OS. As Windows 2000 and Wndows XP share the same file systems (NTFS I think?) it doesn't matter. However if the dual system is with Windows 9X or ME then the software has to be installed on Fat32 file system for both disparate system to be able to read the files. You also need to give consideration .to your "My Documents folder". HTH Cerridwen wrote: |

Office 2003 Student and Teacher Trial Posted: 26 May 2004 10:26 PM PDT This is not an OEM version of the software. It is a trial version. The same one that I could order for free from Microsoft if I wanted to pay the $6.95 for shipping and handling. The trial version is only for 60 days and after that you can purchase the full version and it will unlock the time restriction on the software.
