Thanks for your answer. Anyone who has a good idea to deal with this?

|I'm going to be moving from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 shortly, and

I'm

Outlook Web Access (OWA) 2003 Displays FTP-like Directory Structure/ Folder Listing -- after PHP install

Travis - It's Tim again. I found a solution. When I put
the CD in and try to re-install from the CD, I got the
same results you did - would not take it. However, when
I went under ADD/REMOVE programs and chose MS Exchange,
then told it to REINSTALL, it asked for the CD and re-
installed fine. I then re-installed SP1 for Exchange and
it has fixed my issue. Hope this helps you too.

I wouldn't bother paying for Office XP upgrades if you don't have them

Try the /cleanreminders switch in the command line as I suggested...not sure

Dual boot problem - hangs at "grub" - help!

Posted: 23 Jun 2004 06:19 AM PDT

ravi wrote:

Grub is not part of Redhat, it is the boot manager. From Grub you can
boot any kind of OS.

Are you in a Grub empty menu or at a Grub prompt? In both case this
could mean that the menu.lst (or grub.conf) file has not been found or
is invalid.

The first step is to make sure you reach the Grub prompt (grub>). If you
are in the menu you can type C to get the prompt.

From the Grub promt you can manually boot a partition. The online
manual has a lot of examples:
http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/manual/

First you set the root, then you either locate the kernel or you give
control to another bootloader using the chainloader command. See the manual.

Note: use "boot" as the last command.

But if you can't reach the console, if you see only "GRUB" at the top of
the screen and no keyboard input is working, it means that you installed
Grub on the MBR and deleted the /boot/grub/ files. At this point you'll
have to use a bootdisk to access your hd (Grub bootdisk are easy to
create, see the online manual).

You can also wipe Grub and boot in Windows only. Use a Windows bootdisk
and run either fdisk /mbr (if the C: is FAT32) or get in the recovery
console and type fixmbr then fixboot (if the C: is NTFS). To load RH
you'll then need a RH or Grub bootdisk.

Keep Heading with Normal text below

Posted: 11 Apr 2013 03:00 AM PDT

I have a document with various heading levels, under Heading level 3 I have a series of examples that span 3/4 of a page each, I am trying to force Heading level 3 and Normal to 'keep together'.

  • As an example:

--Start of Page

Header Level 3

Normal

--End of Page

--Start of Page

Header Level 3

Normal

--End of Page

  • However elsewhere I have:

--Start of Page

Header Level 3

Normal

Header Level 3

Normal

Header Level 3

Normal

Header Level 3

Normal

--End of Page

I have tried Heading level 3-> Modify ->Format -> Paragraph -> Line and Page Breaks -> Keep with Next, but this does not appear to be working (I think this is trying to keep Header level 3 together, not link to the text following it). I would use Page break before, only most of the document at Heading level 3 does not need the page break (2 lines of normal per heading).

Is this possible, or should I be defining a different Heading level specifically for this purpose and use 2 Heading level 3 styles?

"Page margins" numbering gets applied to whole doc instead of just the landscape section

Posted: 11 Apr 2013 02:49 AM PDT

Choosing the "Page margins" option for page numbering of a landscape section in a long portrait document applies the (left side) marginal page numbering to the whole document instead of just the landscape section, even though "link to previous" has been correctly deselected before and after to isolate the landscape section.

What could I be doing wrong?

Help with content control/autotext template

Posted: 06 Apr 2013 07:59 AM PDT

Hello,

I've been playing with a cover letter template, and I have some questions as to how it works. The template in question cab be found at:

In it, there is an element for the 'Recipient Name', where if you change the text in either of the instances, it automatically updates the text in the other location. I believe this is a 'content control' (and I apologize if my nomenclature is off on any of this). What I can't figure out, is how do I insert another instance of this particular field? I can copy and paste the element, which works fine, but I can't figure out how to insert another instance manually. Can anyone point me in the right direction here? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Then when I had finished my breakfast, and finished shopping, I came back home and logged onto my laptop, and I tried to open my work, and it said: Microsoft Word Starter 2010 cannot be opened. Try again or repair the product in the control panel, but I tried looking through Control Panel, and could not understand what I had to click on? Please could anyone tell me what to click on in Control Panel Please? By the way I am using a Windows 7 Emachines Laptop. Thanks x

You can't seriously compare MSWord 97 with OOo 2.1.
Unless you are Steve Ballmer of course ;-)

Furthermore, then you have also to start Excel, Powerpoint, Access, ...

But of course you are right, that running OOo on Win98 isn't the fastest
experience.
I just did a little test on a Win98 installation (500 mHz /124 MB or
such). OOo 2.0.3 started in 21 seconds.
But it's not a heavily used (polluted) computer, I have to admit.

I know you can prevent additional characters from being added by limiting it to 3 characters from the properties menu. When I do this and type 001 into the form field it auto corrects it to just read 1. Is there a way to get it to show the first two zeros?

Exclude square brackets in citations to references numbered with square brackets

Posted: 09 Apr 2013 03:37 PM PDT

I am using a company template in which references to other people's work are numbered in such a way that the numbers are enclosed in square brackets.  I don't want these square brackets to show up in the citation.  Is there a way to accomplish this?

For example, I want to cite 3 references like this [3-5] instead of like this [3]-[5].  I can do the former if I manually type the square brackets in my citations rather than having it done automagically for me by the cross-reference.

Make an image clickable

Posted: 09 Apr 2013 02:33 AM PDT

Hi,

I have a QR-code in a document. When the document is printed the QR-code should be scanned and the person scanning it will be taken to a website with a video. However, when the user opens the document in Word I would like him/her to be able to click the image of the QR-code and be taken to the website.

I tried to accomplish this by selecting the image, pressing Ctrl-Alt-H, and entering the URL that should be opened. However, when I hover above the QR-code I do not see the message that I could click it.

I made a signature for my email that contains the QR-code. When you hover above the signature's QR-code you DO have the possibility to click the image and be taken to the website.

What do I need to do to get a clickable image in Word 2007?

Office 2003 pro question

Posted: 25 Jul 2004 08:12 AM PDT

Office 2003 (any version) will only run on Windows 2000 SP-3 or Windows XP.
Previous versions of Office will run on most other versions of Windows,
except for Office XP which will not run (in most cases) on Windows 95.

Office is a business productivity suite that runs on top of your operating
system. For instance, Office 2004 will only run on Mac OS 10.x which is an
operating system. Open Office and Star Office will run on multiple
Operating Systems, such as Linux, Windows, Mac (only OO.org on Mac, not sure
about Star Office, but I think not.)

Think of this as a house/furnishing scenario. You need a house (walls,
wiring, roof, etc.) into which you can place furniture and appliances.
Windows is the house, Office is the furnishing.

Indented quotes have different spacing before and after

I'm writing my dissertation in Word 2013 and I have several indented quotes. However, the problem is that the space or gap before and after the quote are different, very different. For example, I would have a paragraph like this then which is 2.0.

Posted: 08 Apr 2013 07:31 PM PDT

Often Word 2013 will tell me a word 97 file has an error and cannot be opened. NO CLUE AS TO THE TYPE OF ERROR IS PROVIDED. Here is a typical file that Word 2010 is perfectly happy with.

Mouse Pointer in word 2010

Does anybody know how to stop the mouse pointer wavering all the time with the timer symbol?  I have tried fix it and reinstalling but no change.  It is only happening in word 2010.  Basically in a nutshell it is driving me nuts and won't let me type fluently with this constant wavering.

How to differentiate from Word document and Word templates?

The icons for a word document and word template are the same so if you name them the same there is no way to know which was is a document and which is a template. If the icon could be made different as it is in the desktop Word that would be great!
