Would it then be possible to hotplug a module by a third party after installation? It's a shame then that we haven't seen this being used by all sorts of projects, to extend OOo in all sorts of groovy ways, hmm, maybe there's a bit more of a barrier then it seems, or Maybe it's just not as "cool" to write such extensions to an office app as it is for a Browser :\ Sorry, got a bit carried away there ;-) -- Chris Monahan --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: org For additional commands, e-mail: org |

Unless you are Steve Ballmer of course ;-) Furthermore, then you have also to start Excel, Powerpoint, Access, ... But of course you are right, that running OOo on Win98 isn't the fastest experience. I just did a little test on a Win98 installation (500 mHz /124 MB or such). OOo 2.0.3 started in 21 seconds. But it's not a heavily used (polluted) computer, I have to admit.
