when we create pivot table from a data set... then in Pivot table-->options you can group and ungroup the selection.. Anybody please explain the use of Grouping and un grouping the Pivot table... Thanks in advance AV

Cannot delete excel 2010  It is being used by another person or program

This is an issue for 2010 shared Excel files, they either open as Read-only or "locking the file" when user not actually within the files but this has only been an issue for her since the upgrade to office 2010.

1)I have cleared temp files and tested but this is still an issue
2)My computer>manage>open files >there is no open files from user and no sessions from user.

3)Please note share drive is on SAN not on file server or locally. If we copy the file from share drive to terminal server it works fine

4)in share drive we cannot rename the file and cannot rename the extinctions like .xls xlsx,xlsm etc..

5)Tried to repair the excel no luck to resolve ,workaround advised saveas the file ,There is no proper Microsoft articles to resolve this issue .please let me know if any
