Second 2003 server - receive but no send Posted: 28 Nov 2007 08:31 AM PST Hi Well tried a reboot and tried messing with the SMTP virtual server over the weekend, but still no joy. I am considering a reinstall. I ahve been over every setting I can find and it all looks pretty reasonable. Thanks for your input Lewej "Ed Crowley [MVP]" wrote: |
Posted: 28 Nov 2007 07:00 AM PST No, but I did put her Exchange account in cached mode and it corrected the issue. I was going to wait a day or so and then run the scanpst.exe on the ost. I was just looking to see if there's a tool that I can use to verify the integrity of a user's account without having to play the 'cache' game. Public Folder replication exchange 2003 Posted: 28 Nov 2007 01:20 AM PST tion depends on the amount of data, but if it isn't happening there are a lot of things to check, starting with messaging connectivity between the servers. First, the hierarchy must te, and then the content will follow. You can monitor whether this is happening by watching the SMTP queues, becuase public folder tion happens through messging. -- Ed Crowley MVP - Exchange "Protecting the world from PSTs and brick backups!" Mail headers stripped in IMAP client Posted: 21 Nov 2007 07:53 AM PST The messages are not corrupted. Corrupted term simply means those messages for which some header information is not seen. Those mesages are perfectly seen in Outlook with all the headers intact but not in IMAP client. All the new mails delivered to this mailbox are seen perfectly fine with all the headers. -- Prashant "Ed Crowley [MVP]" wrote: |
