Posted: 09 Jan 2007 01:10 AM PST Just a long shot, which you've probably already tried, but can't you copy the approriate reg key HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0 (and 10.0)\Common\LanguageResources to the HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT key on the client PCs? That way any new user should inherit those key. A workaround rather than a solution, but it might be worth a shot. Jim On Tue, 9 Jan 2007 10:49:51 -0000, "Darren King" <nhs.uk> wrote: |
Posted: 08 Jan 2007 03:32 AM PST Hi Bob Many thanks for your comprehensive response. We are covered by Campus License and MSDN AA. Though MSDN AA does not cover full Office, it provides Office language packs sooner :-) than Campus L. Regards, Milos |

She probably will not be back there for 8 weeks or so. I vaguely remember printing the E-mail when they received the key. The print out is probably locked away with the CD. I checked the client's E-mail, Everything older than six months has been purged... <slap on forehead>. She gets a LOT of E-mail. Everything older than six months has been archived. The credit card company also does this. It could be another week before that information is available. Or persons, in this case. Heavy accents, poor english, and a general lack of comprehension and understanding. No, thankfully nothing like that was done. I would have a lot more headaches besides Office if that had happened. As stated in my first message, just a day or so before this happened, she was using Word on the notebook. I was passing by and she asked me a question about a document that she was working on. activation error pro edition office 2003 Posted: 02 Jan 2007 08:40 PM PST I'm actually unsure as to whether your retail edition can simply be installed (with its key) to convert the trial. If you are able to remove the trial edition, as you did before, then install from your cd it might be easier. http://www.microsoft.com/office/trial/convert.mspx may give some insight Note the point where it states editions should be the same "~ geoff" <microsoft.com> wrote in message news:com...
