Posted: 10 Jul 2006 05:31 PM PDT No, they don't keep it. The public screams enough about the info Microsoft has about their systems. If they kept a record about who owns which version of their software all hell would break loose. I'm a bit confused about your original post. Just because a system crashes doesn't mean you've lost Office. What exactly happened and what exactly did you do? Posted: 10 Jul 2006 08:28 AM PDT I think this may have something to do with Norton's which is unable to find some files. It looks like a folder disappeared. Thank you, "JoAnn Paules [MVP]" <com> wrote in message news:com... |
Computer trys to install Office w/ Frontpage Posted: 10 Jul 2006 06:31 AM PDT It may not be asking for FrontPage itself. What it's asking for is something off the CD entitled MS Office with FrontPage. There were certain versions of Office that came with FrontPage, and the installer would always refer to the installation cd in this fashion whether or not it was doing anything with installing FrontPage. Is it possible to download publisher with office xp? Posted: 07 Jul 2006 04:40 AM PDT Did you have a 2 disk set? Publisher might be on the second disk. Office XP Pro did not ship with Publisher, however the Special Edition did. If you previously had Publisher on your computer, you should have the program. The Small Business edition includes Publisher. http://www.microsoft.com/hk/office/xp/howtobuy/choosing.asp#XPproSE -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "LaraNewman" <microsoft.com> wrote in message news:com... |

Office Beta 2 in Vista build 5456 Posted: 06 Jul 2006 06:30 AM PDT Have just performed a clean install of Vista Build 5456 and Office 2007 Beta 2 now installs without a hitch. It seems the Upgrade option may still have a few wrinkles - I guess you can't expect everything to be perfect when dealing with beta releases "crayola_kidd" wrote: |

Posted: 03 Jul 2006 05:23 PM PDT I would have thought that the OP would have been able to keep track of when the time-bombed version would expire. Moving from Office 2003 trial to XP (2002) -- will .pst work? Posted: 03 Jul 2006 05:16 PM PDT Note that Office XP for Students and Teachers is only licensed for installation on ONE computer. It sounds like you may already be using the software on another computer, in which case you cannot legally install the software on your new computer. Phil wrote: |
