To verify the consistency of a Replica, MS requires that an ESEUTIL /k be run
against the databases prior to any log management occurring and associated
log truncation.

OWA Temp Files

You can also look into running Forms Based Authentication, If users use the
public computer option then there will not be any cookies left on the client
PC.

You may want to review this article.

I have deployed FBA in secure environments and it passes their audits with
flying colors where 2000 and 5.5 wouldn't have.

OWA Shared Calander

Posted: 20 Dec 2005 07:41 AM PST

Mark, Thanks for the reply. When I go to the calander on owa, I can not see
any option to open other user shared calander. I tried click on the shared
calander and select open, nothing happens. Any other permission I need to set
other than the user level calander share and the permit.

Thanks

Receiving some HTML email as attachments

Posted: 19 Dec 2005 10:17 AM PST

Hi ... I am having a similar issue. I receive an email from only one sender
in Plain Text format instead of HTML. If I try to open in using OWA I get the
same result. Another user is having the same issue. They are both running
Outlook 2002. Looks like somehow these emails are converted into PLain Text.

Delay notification to AOL

news:com...

AOL has started rejecting mail from a lot of servers in an effort to stop
spam. Some reasons for being blocked would be -

Your SMTP server has no reverse lookup records (PTR)
Your IP is considered to be on a dialup or dynamic IP
Your IP or SMTP server has been blacklisted as an open relay

For the reverse lookup, check out your domain at www.dnsreport.com; ask your
ISP to create the record for you, presuming you have a static IP.

If you don't have a static IP, you can set up an SMTP connector that points
to your ISP's SMTP server as a smarthost.
